PORT ADMIN OFFICE CLOSED THROUGH JUNE 12
The Port of Longview is continuing to monitor the rapidly evolving Coronavirus (COVID-19) situation and taking precautions to keep our staff, customers and community safe.
What you should know:
There are no identified cases of COVID-19 by any staff member, nor do we have knowledge of direct contact with anyone who has the virus.
Cargo operations are NOT affected by this office closure, and business is continuing normally. Port staff are maintaining operations through a combination of social distancing and remote work from home.
There will be no public tours of the Port and we are limiting public access to Port facilities, including non-essential vendors.
Non-passenger commercial vessels that have been to China (excluding Hong Kong and Macau) or embarked crew members who have been in China (excluding Hong Kong and Macau) within the last 14 days, with no sick crew members, will be permitted to enter the U.S. and conduct normal operations, with restrictions. Crew members on these vessels will be required under Captain of the Port authority to remain aboard the vessel except to conduct specific activities directly related to vessel cargo or provisioning operations.
