Terminal Superintendents

The Port of Longview's Operations department works round the clock to manage cargo operations at the marine facilities.

An experienced team of terminal superintendents act as liason between the International Longshore Workers Union (ILWU) workforce and Port customers. They make sure cargo handling equipment is maintained for peak performance and cargo is loaded and unloaded efficiently and according to customer request.

Rail cars are tracked and ordered and trucking functions are coordinated in order to keep cargo moving on time, round the clock.

In March 2003 a new Director of Operations was appointed to head the department.

Tariff and lines rates and a berth application are available.
