The Port of Longview's Communications/Public Affairs department manages public affairs and media outreach functions that build sound community relations with Port District residents.

The department also assists in marketing activities that encourage contact with new and existing port customers.

The department works closely with the Marketing and Real Estate and Planning departments to create targeted advertising, customer newsletters and to attend trade shows, designed to market the Port's marine services.

The department also manages this website, conducts port tours, publishes community newsletters, generates press releases, coordinates community relations activities and assists Port staff with visual and written communications.
