The Port of Longview hires architectural, engineering and/or consulting firms to provide design services for public works and capital projects.

The Port maintains a Consultants Roster of potential firms by announcing to the public its projected requirements for any category or type of professional services.

The Port will accept at any time a Statement of Qualifications (SOQ) from any firm providing such services. The Consultants Roster is kept on file for use as needed. When the need for services arises, the Port's Facilities and Engineering Department compares its project with the capabilities of expertise as listed on the Consultants Roster and then examines appropriate SOQ's to determine which firms it would like to interview for the project.
