PORT COMMISSIONER DISTRICT MAPS NOW AVAILABLE ON PORT WEBSITE
Longview, Wash. – The Port of Longview announces that maps outlining the Port of Longview Commissioner Districts can now be accessed on the Internet at the Port’s website at www.portoflongview.com
To access the maps, from the Port’s Home Page, click the “About the Port” tab, then the “Commissioners & Governance” link, then the “Commissioner Districts” link.
Interested citizens who experience difficulty accessing the maps online, may view them in person at the offices of the Cowlitz County Auditor, or at the Port of Longview administrative office located at 10 Port Way.
Commission President Walt Barham announced last week that letters of interest with resumes from persons interested in filling vacant Commissioner District #1 will be accepted through May 4, 2007.

After the closing date, Commissioners Walt Barham and Dan Buell will review submissions, interview the top three candidates, and appoint a qualified person to fill vacant Commissioner District #1.
