Earth DayThe Port of Longview is committed to the local community. From economic development and creating jobs to waterfront recreation and enhancing the quality of life, your best interests are our best interests.

The Port actively participates in community activities, like Earth Day! Each year the Port supports and exhibits at the local event to share information about the environmentally friendly efforts we're making at the Port.

Service Clubs

Many Port employees are also active members of local service clubs, which donate countless hours and resources to improving our area. Memberships include:

Port of Longview Employees Association (POLEA)

HospiceEmployees of the Port have formed an association dedicated to community service and fundraising. Each year members of the POLEA participate in charitable events and drives, all benefiting the members of our Port district. Recent activities include:

  • 2010 Chili Cook-off benefiting Hospice
  • 2010 Food/clothing drive  for the local Emergency Support Shelter
  • Annual Holiday Food/toy Drive
