Longview, Washington – Following a career that spanned more than three decades, the Port of Longview announced last week that Larry Marko has retired as the Port’s Manager of Marine Terminals.
“Throughout his long tenure at the Port, Larry’s reputation and commitment to excellence made him an invaluable member of our team,” commented Commission President Jeff Wilson. “We wish him a very long and happy retirement.”
Larry started working as the Port’s plumber in 1986 before becoming an Environmental Technician in 1994. In 2005 he started working as a Terminal Superintendent before being promoted to Senior Superintendent and, finally, Manager of Marine Terminals in 2016.
