Community Advisory Committee
The Strategic Plan process is vital to the growth of the Port of Longview. The success of the Port directly benefits the local community, so accordingly, we feel it's essential that the community be involved in planning the direction of the Port.
Through various recruitment methods, we have established a short-term Community Advisory Committee to serve as a "sounding board" as Port staff and Commission work through the process. The committee's objective is to work with staff over the next several months to provide recommendations to the Port Commission to create a strong Strategic Plan that will guide the Port of Longview into the future.
